My name is Julia Boyd and I love stories.

​

Growing up, my brother kept me entertained with stories he made up on the fly.  These outlandish tales had no limits, and included everything from hippopotamuses to super heros to stegosaurus' and everything in between.  



Then, I began to tell stories.  I would regail my friends with an elaborate version of a dream I had the night before.  I relished the moment a teacher announced a free writing assignment.  And one day, I picked up a camcorder I had received for Christmas and figured out I could tell stories on that teeny tiny screen, too.

So, when college counselors asked what I wanted to go to school for, and what I was passionate about, storytelling was the first thing that came to mind.  



As a student at Elon University, I work to expand my thinking, stretch my creativity, become proficient with equipment and technical skills, and produce high quality work.
